CALL TO ORDER: President Dibert called the meeting to order at 10:00 am

Also Present: 80+ other members

ELECTION COMMITTEE: All 4 candidates approved.
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES: Minutes of the last Annual Meeting of the
Pickleball Club from March 28th, 2025 were presented. Motion to approve minutes made and duly seconded.

STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Administration: Recognition of volunteers
● Nominating Committee
○ Chair: Connie Gillette and assisting her are Sue Hunter and Kathy Kuk
● Membership committee
○ Lead person Gineen Pachner, assisting Gineen is Ruth Garvin, Marty
Howard and Carol Bowe
● Also Sue Hunter provides a lot of assistance when people have issues with the Den. You can also see with people like Sue, and there are several of them, are extremely valuable to the club as they help out in more than one area
● Scheduling committee
○ Ken Krueger, John Sober put out the weekly schedules
○ Committee members: Bob Dalley, Mike Rocheleau, Lisbeth Graeter-Humphrey, Eddie Jensen, Diane Beaudoin
● Events
○ Patty Rocheleau, Carol Bowe, Mel Havekes, Marie Knowlton Rob Sakala
● Charitable Donations Committee
○ Pat Thayer chair – Pat also keeps the first aid kits at the courts stocked
○ Pat is also assisted by Patty Rocheleau and Cindy Helmer
● TPPCI Website is maintained by Bruce Eisenhard
● Also many volunteers who worked our tournaments and cook-outs
Facilities: Timber Pines BOD is debating whether to delay resurfacing of the courts for one year. Members urged to contact the board to express their displeasure.
Training and Development:
● 7 different programs were run this season, beginner to advanced.
● 300+ people attended these sessions
● The following instructors were recognized by Peter Horn
○ Beginner’s lessons: Jo-anne & Roy Bentley, Tom Asbel & Lee Hardin
○ Advanced Strategies – Brion Fahey
○ Advanced Training – Mike Rocheleau
○ Get Past Four – Ken Kreuger
○ Playing with Confidence – Bob Dalley
○ Ball Machine – Bill Lightfoot
○ Skills and Drills – Robin Schneider and Nancy Amaro
Communications: None
Membership: Membership as of 3/1 was 913
Events: Volunteers stepped up for April 11th cookout
50/50 raffles at events given totally to members
Prizes given to participants and volunteers at club events
Scheduling: None

ADJOURNMENT: Motion to adjourn the General Meeting at 10:28 am duly made and seconded.
After the General Meeting, the new board met and approved the following:
On March 12, 2026 the elected officers are as follows:
● John Dibert – President and Treasurer, term expires 03/28
● Kevin Mahoney – Secretary and VP, term expires 03/28
● Diane Beaudoin – Director (Events), term expires 03/27
● Gary Carlton – Director (Cookouts), term expires 03/27
● Tom Foster - Director (Training), term expires 03/28
● Randy (John) Taylor – Director (Facilities), term expires 03/27
● Bob Wittenauer – Director (Events), term expires 03/28
The Florida Sunbiz Annual report was filed on March 12, 2026 to reflect the above changes.
A motion was made and seconded that the officers approved for banking at Suncoast Credit Union are as follows:
● John Dibert, President
● Kevin Mahoney – Secretary and VP
The motion was approved
A motion was also made and seconded to remove the following from banking at Suncoast Credit Union as they are no longer officers of the club:
● Marsha Lorenzen
● Tom Asbel
The motion was approved
