IMIPORTANT NOTICE – There have been notices on Facebook on the Timber Pines Neighborhood Facebook page about a fee of $7.95 to sign up for the Den, a computer system used by the Timber Pines Pickleball Club (TPPC). DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO THE DEN TO SIGN UP ON DEN FOR THE $7.95 FEE TO PLAY PICKLEBALL IN TIMBER PINES. THIS IS NOT A TPPC FEE. DEN IS INCLUDED IN YOUR $10 yearly membership for 2023.
If you have not joined the Pickleball Club for 2023 either as a new member or a renewal, TPPC membership forms for 2023 are located at the Courts between Courts 1,2 and 3,4. Fill out the form with your $10 yearly 2023 membership fee and place in the wooden box above the form container. If you are a new player, you will be placed in the TPPC roster and receive a Welcome Letter from the Club. Your membership to the Pickleball Club in Timber Pines includes access to the Den to Den Sign-up Sheets to play on the TP Courts. You DO NOT have to pay Den separately. DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO DEN!
January Cookout – Sat. Jan. 7
The January Cookout on Sat. Jan.7 at 5:30pm features sandwiches. Reminder: Candidates running for the TP Board will be present at 5pm to provide 5-minute introductions and answer questions. The cookout will start as usual at 5:30pm. Sign up on the Den by 5pm on Thurs and list in the comments the side dish, salad, dessert, or appetizer you plan to bring.
Important Note: If you sign up and cannot come, please unclick your name on Den if before 5pm Thurs. or after 5pm, contact a Cookout Committee member below. This is important so that the correct amount of the main dish can be obtained.

REMINDER: Mulligan Tournament – January 13, 14
If you haven’t signed up yet for the Mulligan Tournament on Jan. 13-14, please get your information form in ASAP to ensure a spot.
Divisions are Men’s, Women’s and Mixed play. In each of those categories there will be Advanced, Intermediate and Novice.
Jan. 13 - Women - all levels play in the morning; Men - all levels play in the afternoon.
Jan. 14 – Mixed – Novice and Advanced play in the morning; Intermediates play in the afternoon.
Note: No regular lesson on Friday, Jan 13 from 1-3pm due to the Tournament taking place.
TPPC Shirt Sale
Sales of Timber Pines Pickleball Club logo performance shirts starts this Saturday, January 7th, through Saturday, January 14th. There are flyers posted courtside at each shade structure listing days and times of sales. All sales will take place at the PARC Pavilion. Available for ladies are sleeveless shirts, racerback tanks, V-neck T-shirts and for men we have a crew-neck T-shirt. A poster will be available displaying different shirt colors and styles.
Prices are $14 XS-XL, $16 2XL, $17 3XL, and $18 4XL. Also, for ladies and men we have a polo shirt priced at $20 XS-XL, $22 2XL, $23 3XL, and $24 4XL. All shirts will have the TPPC logo on the left chest in light grey. You may have your first name added to the right chest, also in light grey, for an additional $6 per shirt. Order forms must be accompanied by full payment, preferably a check made out to TPPC, or exact cash. Please come to the Pavilion to place your order at one of the following times:
--Saturday, January 7th through Thursday, January 12th: 8:30-9:30am, 10:30-11:30am, 4:30-5:30pm
--Friday, January 13th & Saturday, January 14th: 7:30am-4:30pm
Other times for sales may be added if needed.
Reminder Notice – Vehicles around the Courts/Pavilion
Please do not drive or park vehicles at the common areas around the pickleball courts or Pavilion. This rule, which applies to all carts, bikes, or other wheeled vehicles, has been previously discussed in Club Friday Fixes and is a TPCA security issue. Your cooperation is appreciated.
