Pickleball Fix

by Bev Crane

Every day we see faces on the Courts we haven’t seen for a while. We are also seeing new members joining the Club. Welcome all!

An example was at the Saturday night cookout when more than 125 Club members and their guests in costumes celebrated Oktoberween at the Pavilion with brats grilled by Chef Nevermann and dishes from Club members. MCs Frank and Janey Tabor provided the entertainment with music, karaoke, and dancing. A surprise dance group of 4 Club members entertained with a special dance, a prize was presented to the best costume and free prizes were awarded to several raffle ticket winners. A fun night!

Reminder: This Saturday’s cookout on Sat. Nov. 5 at 5:30pm at the Pavilion is a potluck. Bring your favorite dish to serve 6-8 and socialize with your pickleball colleagues.

Problems with Sign-up Calendar on Den

It has come to our attention that some of our members are having problems when they try to choose a date to search for play times in the Den Sign-up sheets. We have heard from the Pickleball Den Administration that this is an on-going problem with Computer access. Cell phones and tablets seem to be working properly. Even though the calendar isn't working correctly, you can manually enter the date you wish to search on. Den Admin has indicated it may take several months to resolve so we ask for your patience.

Save the Dates

--The next BOD meeting will be Nov. 15, Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Country Club.

--The TPPC New Year’s Eve party will be December 31. More details to come.

See you on the Courts and keep on picklin’,
