Please contact the Club at tppickleballclub@gmail.com. Some of our members will work directly with you if you have trouble logging on or signing up for events.

Sign up now to play with old and new friends!

COOKOUT

Last week’s potluck was attended by more than 30 players. Attendees sampled a great assortment of tasty dishes from Club members. Raffle winner of a pickleball bag was Denise Egizio, and Don Hanson won a pickleball mouse pad. Another lovely evening among friends!

This Saturday Chef Gino will serve hamburgers with more than 40 already signed up. Please sign up no later than Thursday so Gino can provide enough of the main dish. Attendees bring your own side dish to share.

FUN TOURNAMENT UPDATE

The Fun Tournament is only two weeks away. More than a dozen players have signed up already. Newbie/novices are encouraged to join the fun and sign up. The event procedure is very similar to ABCD but played on a smaller court. Remember it’s for FUN !!!!

Sign up with your partner and drop your application in the PB Box above the application forms at the PARC. You can sign up for more than one event with different partners. More information on the Tourney will follow. Eagle Hemp is sponsoring the tournament and supplying hotdogs for participants.

OCTOBER SCHEDULE

The October schedule starts today! Many events remain the same, including training on Courts 1,2 every day, evening events beginning at 6pm and Skinny Singles sign-up. There are several changes so review the schedule carefully. Sign up on the Den to try out some events you haven’t played in before and meet new players at the same time. Because of the October 17 tournament, there are no sign-up sheets in Den for this day.

WINERY SOCIAL TRIP

In an earlier Fix email the possibility of having a Club social visit to a local winery was proposed. Bob Dalley is finalizing this trip for a Monday in mid-October at a cost of $15/per person. The Masaryk Winery will provide 4-5 wine samplings and appetizers such as bacon wrapped shrimp, bruschetta, pigs in a blanket and a homemade banana pudding. The Winery is about 30 minutes away, and members would use their own transportation. Final details should be available in next week’s Fix so be ready to sign up. The Winery is in a lovely spot ideal for a leisure social. More information next week!

Play safe and be careful. See you at the Saturday night cookout! PLEASE BRING CORRECT CHANGE!
